I would wait until she's asleep, th...You are nuts! I would wait until she's asleep, then close her bedroom door. That way you don't have to wonder if she's been out and about the house in the middle of the night before coming to your room. You can also tell her that if she needs you in the night she can just knock and yell "Mommy" or "Daddy" and you'll come get her.
