Amen, Sister. Amen.

My cousin-in-law posted this on her blog, and I just had to re-post here.
All I have to say is
YES!!!
THANK YOU, LADY!
I love my children more than anything, but I do not and will not cherish every moment.
Because some moments are, for lack of a better word, crappy.
I don't think I should have to cherish the 5th diarrhea diaper of Jane's I changed today {it's not even 3:00 for Pete's sake}, or the moment I came up the stairs to find Mya screaming about a piece of hair that was on her hand.
And you know what????
Most days bedtime IS the best part of the day.
And I shouldn't be made to feel like a bad mom because I feel that way.
Because 3 kids ages 5, 3, and 8 months is HARD.
Working full time {even though it is from home} with these 3 little delights is HARD.
But oh how I am happy for those moments that I do and will cherish - even though they may seem few and far between :)

LOVED that! Now THAT is truth. Good perspective. Especially he one peeing in the corner. Hahahahaha!

Thought of you today and little Jane's bum. Just heard of a thing going around (my neices have in fact that live close to you). I believe it's called toddler's diarrhea??? Anyway, it's a bacteria in the intestine that doesn't go away on it's own. Sounds a lot like your scenario. Wait! Maybe not-you said hers is from the antibiotics. Backin' up. Anyway, thought of you!! Hope it's getting better!!! Love ya!

Agreed... I do not wish to cherish every moment... Like Sunday when M's primary teacher asked me if Tyler or I could sit in on their class this Sunday... Yah, now I have "that kid". Thanks for posting that!

3 kids under the age of 5 WOULD be really hard. I'm obviously not quite there yet and kind of nervous to add another because I know it will never be like this (or this easy) again. You know?

I read that today and LOVED it. It is so true being a parent is hard. But it's worth it. Good Luck with Jane, that sure is not fun for you or her. I've been thinking about you a lot lately,

True that. I always want to drop kick those ladies. I also want to drop kick people who say, "so the third one is another boy..." then they give me some sad face. Really? Should I love the third one less? Get over it people the odds are 50/50 and I love them!

I'll add my amen to yours! This is such a great way to look at being a mother. Well said, indeed!
