A Day to Remember

Today was a crazy day.  I'm really trying to get Mya potty trained before this baby comes.  Well, it's really hard to train a child who can hold it.  And I mean HOLD IT.  For 10+ hours.  And no accidents in between.  I'm trying to take a more relaxed road with her than I did with Lauren, for my own sanity.  I can really only do about 2 consecutive days of hard core training before I crack and have to take a break.
Oh well, it will happen some time.
Anyway, so here is what I really wanted to remember about today:
I didn't feel like puking once today.
All.  Day.  Long.
I just reaized that it's 8:00 and I haven't felt nauseous at all today.  I haven't had a day like this in over 7 months.
And it feels absolutely fabulous.
So even though I had to clean up a major pee puddle in my front room {fyi, when your kid holds it for a really long time, when it finally comes, it is in epic amounts}, at least I feel great today!
And I thought I'd throw in a picture since tomorrow marks 35 weeks.
That's right, 35 weeks!

**I never thought my, ahem, "top" would look small.  But when your belly is huge, it really minimizes other parts, eh?

i love that pictures! that shirt is tres chic. since this is your last baby belly, you'll be passing all maternity clothing along to your equally busty friend (me) who would like 3 or 5 or 10 more pregnant bellies, yes?

just kidding.

sort of.

We've had some kids who could hold it forever too. I'd wait a few hours and then have them go sit on the toilet. I'd tell them we'd just sit for a few minutes and be done...no stress. I'd sit and talk to them and get them laughing really good. And they'd go without thinking. It worked sometimes...not always. :-) Glad you had a good day!!! We're coming for the 4th of July...will you be in town? Lauree

The GIANT pee puddle made me laugh!! I like Lauree's idea of making them giggle it out, never thought of that before.

Love the picture! Seriously, you don't look 35 weeks, you look like 20. So cute in all your curvaceousness! How do you do that?! So..... if I'm wanting my "top" to look bigger, I'm thinking I may have to work it the other way. Any ideas on how to shrink my rib cage? Haha!
