Freaking Out

I'm just putting this out there - I'm due 4 weeks from tomorrow and I'm freaking out! My baby's room is torn apart like the rest of the house and I'm nesting but I can't do anything about it. And I think I'm in denial of how far along I am because I refuse to pack a bag. All of my baby clothes are still in storage. Will someone just tell me to breathe, calm down, and everything will be fine? I just wish I knew which house I was going to be in when she gets here. The logical part of me is saying "stay in there until the last possible minute", but the pregnant part of me is saying "come whenever you want as long as you're healthy". Bryan says I need to not worry about stuff that is out of my control, but the problem is that EVERYTHING right now is out of my control!!!

I agree with Bryan. I know your hormones are probably raging (if your pregnancy is anything like mine were). But breath, try to calm down and don't worry about things that are beyond your control. :) Just let life happen and trust that things will work out and be ok. I would take a deep, calming breath and pack your bag, because at least that way you can feel in control of that and it's something to check off your to do list. Hang in there little camper, all will be well and one day you will look back and laugh at this whole situation.

Just think about this: no matter where you live or what her room looks like, the baby will be happy. As long as she has you, Bryan, Lauren & FOOD!!! Good luck.

You have every right to freak out!! But try to relax, it'll all be okay. The first month or so these little ones need very little...diapers/wipes/onsies and LOTS OF LOVE!!!! You'll be okay. The most important thing is to get your bag packed and ready to go. Everything else will fall into place. If you need any help, feel free to shout out! I'll do anything I can.
But, I'd be a bit of a mess right now too, so you aren't alone.

Oh man I can't believe you only have 4 weeks left! Seriously, you can pull out clothes & wash them as you need them, & just enjoy her while she's teeny tiny... they grow up way too fast! I can't beleive Lauren is old enough now to have a big girl bed! So fun to see them grow up though! Good luck & if you need ANY help, please call us!! I want to see some pics of your new place asap!!! ;)

Be at moms! That way you'll have all the help you'll need, someone to make dinners, take care of Lulu, the baby and such so you can recover and then worry about moving in! I'm sure Bryan is freaking out about trying to get everything done as well as worrying about you and your health. The biggest advice I have is ask for help! Ask for what you need with the house and the baby! We're all here to help you!
